Job DescriptionPerforms mid-volume data entry (average: 8,001 to 10,000 keystrokes per hour). Performs basic management of electronic files (i.e. print, copy, transfer and delete). Accesses information from a computer and/or maintains a computer database. Enters data for envelopes, labels, form letters and correspondence. Formats and produce documents. Works with numbers (i.e. add, subtract, multiply and divide). Detects and correct errors. Uses word processing, spreadsheet, database or other software on a computer. This is a 6-month contract with potential of renewal. JOB DESCRIPTIONS The Business Solutions Architect will be part of the team that is responsible for all reporting out to business partners, be it IT, Businesses, Senior Leadership and the CIO. The team is working on re-tooling the way they have done reporting in the past, from the ground up. The team is moving away from static, point-in-time power points or PDFs and going to an interactive, near real time construct. The IT Business Solutions Architect will act as a product owner of incoming new product. The individual will work with the businesses in developing the requirements, design the tools and work with developers in development and work with end users on testing the products prior to implementation. Conduct analysis of business issues and challenges. Effectively communicate and document business and IT information in line with agreed processes and procedures. Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts Develop, define, and build technology bias business cases that will enable business and technology change Implement workflow across the organization Participate in business process and technology initiatives to improve business performance Participate in implementation of new business processes and functions as a result of national and regional initiatives Act as liaison and participate in defining technology solutions to solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long-term implications Document functional specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflow Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications Work with end-users to define and execute test scenarios and ensure appropriate end user training JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines Minimum 3 years of solid experience in business technical analysis of software / product development. Strong MS Skills (Visio, Powerpoint, Excel, SharePoint, etc) are a MUST. Experience in building wireframe using Tableau is an added advantage. Creating process flows and diagrams necessary to assist the requirements gathering process Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
