(USA-WI-Green Bay) Facility Licensing Specialist

**Job Description** Are you looking for a challenging opportunity? Do you enjoy having weekends off? Immediate long term temporary full-time position in the local Green Bay area. POSITION OVERVIEW Under the general supervision of the NERO manager, this position provides assistance with fulfilling federal administrative caseload management requirements and multiple other data management/reporting responsibilities in regards to tracking background check frequency and accuracy for State-licensed facilities where children are placed in out of home care. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform monthly updates of employee rosters for a specific group of State-licensed facilities based on information provided by the facilities. 1. Prepare monthly letters for facilities informing them of their missing background checks, expired background checks, and checks set to expire. 2. Follow guidelines on updating all information provided by the facility, including updating rosters with accurate information and providing facilities with a confirmation of receipt and any follow up questions. 3. Maintain strict confidentiality of received information. This includes confidential materials such as criminal convictions, child protective service reports, and identifying information. 4. Maintain complete and accurate records for every assigned facility. 5. Evaluate the CBC Project process for ways to improve its efficiency. 6. Respond timely, accurately, and professionally to all questions received by facilities, State staff, co-workers, and supervisors. 7. Use critical thinking skills to question when something doesn’t make sense, bringing it to the supervisor-s attention prior to asking the facility. 8. Other duties as needed and assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. 2. Able to communicate professionally with co-workers, State contacts, and facility contacts via email, phone, and in person. 3. Maintain a professional working demeanor at all times. 4. Extensive attention to detail. 5. Ability to receive constructive criticism and use it to improve job performance. 6. Ability to work quickly yet efficiently in order to meet monthly deadlines. 7. Ability to work independently, setting priorities to meet the demands of the position. 8. Ability to organize and keep track of an abundance of information and communication received in a small amount of time without missing anything. 9. Ability to utilize appropriate and sensitive discretion in dealing with confidential communications and situations. Hours will be between 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/wk.
