Job DescriptionKelly Services has a opportunity for a material handler in Burnet, TX. Primary Responsibilities: Effectively monitors stock levels of supplies used by manufacturing and Logistics; Communicates shortage of stock to impacted departments and management; Performs inventory counts of raw material and supplies on a weekly basis, or as requested; Maintains neat and organized shipping and receiving docks; Loads and unloads outbound/inbound trucks as needed; Wraps completed pallets for outbound shipments as requested by logistics team; Maintains organized and effective product locations that provide all logistics, manufacturing and QC inspection personnel ease of item identification; Manages product locations and product placement to support FIFO practices for all finished goods and raw materials; Reports any incidents that may cause damage to structures, property or equipment; Supports ISO14001 standard by performing recycling of spent materials such as cardboard, plastics, etc; Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent; Forklift certification preferred; A minimum of 1 year of previous material handling or warehouse experience in a high volume manufacturing environment Experience working with hazardous chemical highly preferred Mental alertness with ability to use the senses of sight, touch, smell and hearing Constant keen awareness to one s surroundings Acute attention to detail Bends, stands, stoops, pushes, pulls for up to 8 hours per day Ability to use a computer to scan, copy and email communication Ability to operate a sit down/stand up forklift, pallet jack Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively Apply directly to the posting for immediate consideration! Production Control Materials Planner Job Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include cell materials resource planning MRP and Kanban management, material flow management for 100 on-time delivery to customers and inventory turn improvement, maintenance of bill of material BOM and part data integrity, prepare plans and give commits for sales and production schedule / hours, and all production inventory transactions. Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree Materials Management or Industrial Engineering preferred w/2+ years of related experience Requirements: Experience working projects and multiple tasks within a materials organization.
