**Senior Strategic Sales Manager ** This individual will secure new business for Kelly across the entire workforce management spectrum—spanning both staffing and solutions. Lead the identification of qualified prospects, development of sales strategies with the field organization resulting in net new accounts. Expand and enhance Kelly’s business relationships with prospective customers to contribute to enhanced sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction and market share. Maximize sales and profit through effective negotiations and manage expense to sales ratio to optimize efficiency and profitability. This position entails strategic accounts with revenue potential of $ 5 million per year or more Major Duties and Responsibilities * Develop and execute engagement plans and sales strategies with the field organization for new customers and prospects by: reviewing and monitoring corporate financial indicators, utilizing multiple sources of competitive data; utilizing and leveraging sales data and information; lead preparation efforts to proposals that address financial considerations and define value; meeting with high level decision makers to deliver presentation and negotiate the terms of the sale * Initiate consultative customer relationships; corporate, field and external by communicating with key decision makers, positioning Kelly products, services and solutions to address their needs. * Establish and maintain an ongoing sales funnel of targeted and qualified prospects and expand the business opportunity by involving field and corporate subject matter experts. * Continuous self-development by developing consultative sales skills, understanding of Kelly’s cost models and pricing; staying current with all aspects of business, including industry and competitive data; learning and sharing of competitive market information, conducting discussions, trainings, and joint sales calls; discussing customer and legislative issues, building relationships with US Ops leadership and SME’s. * Successfully team with field staff and subject matter experts to maximize sales, coordinate service delivery and proactively enhance customer value. Involve appropriate subject matter experts and other internal resources to ensure maximum account penetration, customer satisfaction. Work with assigned executive sponsor to ensure alignment with customer executive sponsor as appropriate. Apply appropriate judgment and risk analysis to all decisions (financial and organizational directions). Key Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Experience in selling to high level contacts at large accounts * Demonstrated ability to create effective business presentations * Demonstrated ability to present in front of perceptive audiences including C-level customer. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships * Understanding of the consultative sales process * Ability to problem solve and offer solutions in a timely fashion that meets prospective customer needs and are financial beneficial for Kelly * Knowledge of Kelly service offerings * High level of financial acumen * Ability to travel 60-80% or as needed.
