Job DescriptionOB TITLE:General Assembly PositionCUSTOMER JOB DESC: This position is identified as a Warehous Associate: work content to include but not limited to the processing of pallets of finish goods product by moving the pallets to specified location as determined by warehouse management system with PIV equipment, picking of product through our pick area utilizing a PIV pick cart, placement of labels or other value added items on product picked for shipment to our Trade Partners, and the continous lifting of cartons delivered to the FDC for palletizing. Requires lifting of cartons and use of RF equipment for our WM system.Selected Skills:Additional Skills:: Must be capable of acquiring PIV license.Education: Preferred: High School/GEDJOB DESCRIPTION:This is a general job description for the hourly jobs so that all new hires and Kelly Services Associates are aware of and able to perform required tasks on all jobs and may work in any area of the plant with any process. Associates must be able to stand 100% of the time. Associates must be able to maneuver between workstations and throughout the facility. Workers are frequently required to use hand tools, precision hand tools, and portable power tools, machine shop equipment, safety equipment, computers, scanners or printers. Must be able to push or pull carts full of parts. Workers are frequently asked to perform tasks that require standing, walking, pulling/pushing, handling, gripping, reaching, bending, and repetitive twisting of the hands, wrist, and forearm with the application of force. Must be able to perform tasks which require sitting, climbing, lifting, carrying, as well as tasks which require repetitive finger movement, repetitive twisting of the hand, wrist or forearm without force, repetitive shoulder, arm or elbow movement, repetitive pressure or movement involving ankle or foot, and turning or twisting of the back and neck. Must be able to lift, carry, and stack 35 pounds from below knees (floor level) up to and including over head repeatedly. Must be able to visually and audibly inspect all parts that are being worked with for defects/flaws. WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR Summary Coordinates all Warehouse daily activities, keeping operations within full Regulatory compliance (GMPs, ISO 14000 & Safety), providing high Warehouse operations customer service levels (internal/external customers) for the company Warehouse. Responsible for all inventory transactions and controlled substances during receipt, dispatch, pickup, moves between sites, storage and shipping. Responsible to provide a status to the Warehouse Expert about the Warehouse activities performed weekly, or as per request. Responsibilities Coordinates SAP transactions verification, proper documentation and filing of all receipts, dispatches, pickups, movements between sites, deliveries and shipments of finished goods, drug & controlled substance and packaging components. Coordinates the storage of raw materials / packaging component on designated locations from SAP system. Packaging component sampling by means of sampling / receiving procedure including performing specific inventory system transactions. Keeps all warehouse areas, including Label Room, Reject Cage and/or Controlled Substance (cage/vault) organized, clean and locked (when not in use). Participates in cycle counts, as required by Warehouse Expert or Cycle Count Coordinator. Provides support to keep the company inventory policy above 95% accuracy. Coordinates daily data gathering and evaluation of temperature and relative humidity readings throughout the warehouse and vault (s) on both sites. Maintains working area / floor space in a clean and organized manner. Operates Forklifts and/or trucks in a responsible and safe operational manner, following all safety and/or environmental rules. Assures that Warehouse Operators perform daily inspection according to inspection sheet. Coordinates the Preventive Maintenance and repairs to Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks. Coordinates daily support to Manufacturing and Packaging operations to avoid downtimes. Informs Warehouse Expert of all Warehouse supplies needed for daily operations. Coordinates daily activities to identify opportunity areas such as PET board. Keeps good documentation practices within all documents handled in the Warehouse, including MDA’s disposal on time. Provides accurate and on time coordination with Traffic Coordinators of all Bulk/Finished Goods shipments. Coordinates all activities related to the Safety & Hygiene program, including meetings with Warehouse representatives and operators and participation on the Safety committee. Keeps Warehouse safety inspections up date. Actively participates on projects and programs. Completes environmental and safety training in accordance to company policy as required.
